Improve Physical Performance
Caffeine can increase your nerves, signalling the breakdown of fat cells in your body.
But it also increases levels of epinephrine (adrenaline) within yourself. This is the fight-or-flight oestrogen that prepares one’s body besides intense physical exertion. Caffeine starts to break down body fat, providing free fatty acids as fuel. Despite these results, it is remarkable that caffeine will boost physical efficiency by an average of 11–12 percent.
And getting a good cup of coffee about half an hour before you go to the gym makes sense.
