Since coffee drinkers are less prone to get a lot of illnesses, it makes sense that coffee would help you stay longer.
Several observational studies have indicated a lower risk of death for coffee drinkers.
Drinking coffee was associated in two very large studies with a 20 percent reduction in men’s risk of death and a 26 percent reduction in women’s risk of death, over 18–24 years.
This influence is especially prevalent in people with type 2 diabetes. Individuals with diabetes drinking coffee had a 30 percent lower risk of death in one 20-year study.
